Well, um, hello.

Hi! 

Okay, so. 

This blog is going to be sort of a journal for me. A diary. I figure things could get a little messy. I want to be completely honest with you, and with myself, for both our benefit. 

So I'm not going to give you my real name. Let's just call me... JJ. 

Alright. SO. 

I'm JJ. I'm fifteen. I'm a teenager. A not-so-normal 21st century teenager, that is. 

What makes me not-so-normal, in my opinion, is the fact that I spend my Friday nights blogging about my life rather than getting drunk, reblogging posts on Tumblr about sex rather than actually having sex and studying hard because I think I know what I want to get out of my life. 

Truth is, I don't know anything. This is kind of like a journey, to find myself. I hope I find it.

 All I know is school and boys and Taylor Swift. And chocolate. Always. Chocolate.

I started this blog to give you an idea, if you're a parent maybe, of what goes on in an (in)sane teenager's head. I'm tired of every teenager being generically labeled as a 'scumbag', 'tyrant' or 'out of control'. 

Sure, there are some teenagers out there who genuinely are some of those things but have you ever thought about the promising youth of today? The youth of today who are embarrassed by those people? The youth of today, the future doctors, lawyers, cooks, painters, explorers. 

I am going to be documenting my day and my thoughts on the day. Everyday. I don't know if you'll be interested in this. I doubt that you will. Yet I hope that you will.
